There are a lot of people out there using the blues as a platform to serve their community and the world at large. Occasionally we like to let you know about these peoples’ good works. Blues Revue/BluesWax photographer Dusty Scott turned us on to Project Blues in Columbus, Ohio. He attended their first benefit concert, Blues Bash, on Sunday, September 11. The show featured James Cotton with Tom Holland, Diunna Greenleaf and Blue Mercy, Johnnie Bassett, Jonn Del Toro Richardson & Rich DelGrosso, Ray Fuller and the Bluesrockers, and Hurricane Jerry Loos.
